The purpose of the Ignite Your Potential program is to introduce young women to various aspects of the fire service while developing important character traits. The program prepares participants for the competitive path to a career in the fire service or whatever career they may pursue. All genders are welcome.

• Pre-Event Family Fun Night

  Saturday 8/3/24

  4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

  Location: Vista Fire Station #1, 175 N. Melrose Dr., Vista, CA 92081

  Spend a warm summer evening gathered together for Family Fun Night. Parents and children will enjoy a delightful array of food and will have an opportunity to ask questions about the summit and the world of fire service.

   

• Empowerment Summit Day 1

  Friday 8/9/24

  8:00 am to 5:00 pm

  Location: Vista Fire Station #5, 2009 South Melrose Drive, Vista, CA 92081

  Introductions, workouts. Lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided.

   

• Empowerment Summit Day 2

  Saturday 8/10/24

  8:00 am to 5:00 pm

  Location: FCTC Testing Center, 6144 Innovation Way, Carlsbad, CA 92009

  Written and physical agility practice. Lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided.

   

• Empowerment Summit Day 3

Sunday 8/11/24

8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Location: Oceanside Fire Training Center, 110 Jones Road, Oceanside, CA 92058

Structural practice, fun drills. Lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided.

Please wear closed-toe athletic shoes, “Ignite Your Potential” event t-shirt, and flexible, long, dark pants. Hair should be tied up.
