Become a Certified Green Business and a Part of the Green Business Network!
The City of Vista has joined the San Diego Regional Green Business Network (SDRGBN) to help businesses adopt environmentally sustainable practices, furthering the City’s commitment to climate and environmental responsibility. This partnership will provide targeted outreach, certification, and recognition to local Vista businesses who are interested in participating in the program.
What is a Green Business and the Green Business Network?
Green Businesses implement practices that focus on energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction to help reduce the costs of their operations and fight climate change. Green Businesses monitor things like: their water and energy use, the transportation options to their facilities, their use of toxic chemicals, and their recycling and waste practices to operate more efficiently and sustainably.
The Green Business Network program provides FREE consulting and certification services from the San Diego Green Building Council (SDGBC) for more than thirty types of businesses, such as restaurants, offices, salons, and more. The Green Business Network is a statewide program operated by counties and cities throughout California that aims to help local businesses conserve energy and water, minimize waste, prevent pollution, and shrink their overall carbon footprint.
