City of Vista's Age-Friendly Plan
The City of Vista has partnered with the San Diego Foundation and San Diego State University to develop an Age-Friendly Plan for Vista. We encourage you to take the online survey which will assist in preparing the plan. The survey is open until October 1, 2024. A series of community roundtable meetings will be scheduled in the future.
Comprehensive Safety Action Plan
The City of Vista is developing a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan to improve road safety and reduce traffic-related fatalities and injuries. The plan analyzes high-risk areas where collisions frequently occur and prioritizes safety improvements for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users.
As part of this initiative, the city will host a public workshop to gather community feedback on proposed safety measures, project ideas, and criteria for prioritizing these efforts. Residents are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts on making Vista’s roads safer.
October 9, 6 pm – 8 pm
Morris B. Vance Community Room
Vista Civic Center,
200 Civic Center Drive
For more information or to stay updated, email us. Community input will be key to shaping the final safety plan and achieving the goal of reducing road fatalities and injuries to zero.
